They are currently seeking a passionate Senior Quantity Surveyor who are keen to help the growth of their division. It is an exceptional opportunity with a recognised brand renowned for developing their people.Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leading House builder - Kent - GBP70,000 + packageThe RoleThey are looking for a customer focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. They want a Quantity Surveyor who works well within a team and can develop exceptional relationships.An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial Team.You will work closely with a commercial manager and will be responsible for the full commercial management of a number of housing projects from inception to handover, key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-
* Calculate costs on developments within the business,* Provide a detailed cost budgets* Prepare estimates of costs Inc. subcontract and materials.* Monitor and explain cost movements.* Procurement of subcontractors* Final Accounts* Undertake valuations of production at budgeted cost* Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC requirements, HSE etc.
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Leading House builder - Kent - GBP70,000 + packageThe Person:
* Reasonable knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements.* Quantity surveying experience with a House builder * Experience overseeing multiple projects* Preferably member of CIOB or RICS.* Business acumen* Negotiation skills
