Senior/Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Manchester City Centre - Very competitive salary & benefits

We are looking for a senior/principal level Electrical Design Engineer who can deliver projects, represent the company at design team meetings and work largely unsupervised. Your duties will also include:
- Undertaking design calculations (knowledge of Amtech, Dialux, etc).
- Developing design proposals at sketch, detail design and production stages.
- Liaison with clients and other members of the design team, suppliers and contractors as necessary.
- Preparing tender documentation
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD useful but not essential.
- Undertaking site surveys/inspections.
- Preparing reports.
- Providing coaching to junior engineers.
Established in January 2004 the Practice has undergone controlled growth and our team of 22 now has capabilities to provide support for all sizes of projects.
We have recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary. During this time we have grown steadily and have been careful to appoint the right calibre individuals to compliment the demands of our clients. As such we are now one of the leading independent consultancies in the Manchester area.
