ESTIMATOR
Salary: GBP20-22K
Location: Doncaster
Hours: 8.00am - 5.30pm / Monday - Friday (12pm finish Friday)
23 days' holiday + bank holidays
Venatu Consulting are currently working in partnership with our client to recruit an Estimator. This position will be working within the Design Team and reporting directly to the Office Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with a flexible approach to work in a business environment.
Responsibilities:
* Produce accurate costing estimates in response to customers / product developments
* Communicate with external contacts on technical issues
* Complete documents and paper work
* Create and input system master data for new products
* Maintain existing master data to reflect on-going amendments to specification / procedures
* Liaise with internal colleagues regarding product set-up, routings and other technical aspects
* Adherence to the Company Health & Safety Policy is essential
* Interpret and produce CAD production drawings
* Provide quotation services, CAD drawings and Technical support to customers and colleagues alike.
Skills:
* Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Access.
* Must be capable of producing work to high standards of accuracy.
* Have excellent communication skills and will be expected to develop working relationships across all departments of the business.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic and capable of working to challenging deadlines.
* An operational understanding of CAD software programs would be beneficial
