Have you recently graduated with a psychology degree and looking to gain paid experience in a school-based support role in preparation perhaps of becoming an educational psychologist?

SEN Teaching Assistant - Graduate Role

Have you always dreamed of one day becoming an educational psychologist, but realise you need school-based experience before getting on to an Ed. Psych course? This graduate SEN teaching assistant role is ideal for those with the career ambition to work within education either in teaching or educational psychology. You will be paid a competitive salary of up to GBP65 per day. The role is at a lovely primary school based in Birmingham and you will be supporting a young Year 2 boy who has autism and faces a number of barriers to learning. Each day the young child attends the sensory room which is within the school - the room is well equipped with soft play equipment and other sensory objects to help to calm the child and keep them calm and focused. The school has an excellent training record, this year providing training to SEN graduate on speech and language intervention and autism awareness, amongst other training courses.
