Holiday Opportunity During Easter for Experienced Early Years Professional

Ultimate Activity Camps run non-residential Holiday Camps for children aged 4 - 14 in fantastic locations during the school holidays. This summer we will be back for a thrilling summer at Cranford House School near Wallingford and we are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Professionals to join the team!

Our Early Years staff oversee our Ultimate Activity Juniors programme to ensure the safe, effective running of camp for the 4 and 5 year olds, following the EYFS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and assist on delivering activities focusing on sports, arts and play
• Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to on camp, and implementing new procedures to ensure the camp is a safe environment for staff and children.
• Ensure Ofsted requirements are met at all times on camp, as the registered person, liaising directly with an inspector in the event of an inspection
• Main point of contact for parents of the younger children on camp. Includes feeding back any observations or issues to parents.
• Manage some administrative duties for the younger children. (Sign in/out, registration).
• Other ad-hoc duties (cleaning, equipment maintenance/ordering etc.)

Requirements:

• Minimum level 3 qualified in Early Years/Childcare
• Ideally educated to degree level (Level 6) in Early Years/Primary Education or equivalent
• Significant childcare or nursery experience
• Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how to apply it to a camp setting
• Some management/supervisory experience is desirable
• Experience in delivering Sport, Art and Play activities to children
• Energetic team-player
• Someone looking for a challenging, different but hugely rewarding and fun job in the holidays, and looking to further their career in the childcare and coaching industry

Hours of work: 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday school holidays

Dates: 17th July - 25th August (part and full season opportunities) and future work in all school holidays!

Salary: GBP320 - GBP450 per week depending on qualification and level of experience
