Onsite Team Co-ordinator

H&G Recruitment is transforming and we are looking for individuals with excellent leadership skills to support this change at the Argos Basildon Distribution Centre. Our customer is looking for us to support their core values and team spirit whilst ensuring excellent customer service within the supply chain. Leading up to a team of 50 colleagues daily which may increase up to 100 at peak we are looking for a talented individual with line management experience who can improve the productivity by motivating the team in the overall delivery to our customer, Argos.

You should possess excellent communication skills to engage in team briefings, general consultations, and one to one conversations.

Be focused on performance, productivity and pick targets.

Have a good understanding of the need for your colleagues to follow safe systems of work and HSE guidelines (outlined by site)

Be able to communicate, at all levels of seniority, basic KPI stats in regards to attendance, attrition, and productivity.

Grow and build your own team of colleagues through referrals, for which you will be incentivised to do so.

The ideal candidate would ideally:

• be educated to G.C.S.E level with qualifications in English and Maths.
• Had previous line management experience within a logistics and distribution industry and have solid understanding of how the functions within a warehouse influence customer service.
• Posses strong interpersonal skills and good IT experience including Microsoft packages.
• Possess basic knowledge of budgets and cost control.
