As part of the UK commitment to safe, sustainable energy supply, McGinley support services are working with several of the UK main operators and contractors in both new build and decommissioning phases of nuclear energy production.
As a production and operations maintenance technician within the maintenance section you will conduct routine and corrective maintenance of instruments such as pressure/flow meters, temperature control systems, loop Systems, control valves, radiation detection systems, PLC, SCADA, sampling systems, relative humidity systems and PA systems. You will be responsible for instrumentation, programming and communication providing advice and guidance on operational maintenance issues.
Qualified to NVQ level 3 or above in electrical engineering or relevant engineering subject, you will be experienced in production and process operations in nuclear environments or similar highly regulated, safety critical environments such as oil and gas, marine or the armed forces.
In return you will have long term contract opportunity to work with an inclusive team on an attractive hourly or daily rate for an 8 hour day and the opportunity to work within an environment that has financial investment for many years to come.
