Registered care manager
A lovely home with beautiful grounds is looking for a registered care home manager to grow and lead their team. This company has a huge reputation and is known for their friendly and caring nature. They are looking for an experienced and loyal manager to join their family-like team.
Your Duties:
- Be an engaging leader, ensuring that the home is operating to the highest standard and colleagues are given the best training, support and guidance to perform their duties.
- You will be in charge of the full recruitment process including, recruiting, inductions and training.
- Ensure that your team comply with the relevant legislation and all enhanced DBS checks are carried out.
- You will be planning the working rota and ensure that the team know about it in advance to allow for any necessary changes.
- Continually assess and review residents care to ensure that the highest level of care is being given.
- You will be managing the budget of the home, this will include providing in depth and accurate reports to senior management.
- Meet all health and safety regulations
- Provide advice and support to residents and their families as well as team members
You will need:
- A huge part of this position is managing the home from a business aspect so you will need to have a high level of business acumen.
- You need to be able to demonstrate longevity with previous employers
- It is essential that you have worked as a registered care home manager to ensure you have the knowledge and experience to successfully run a thriving care home.
- You will need to demonstrate a high level of integrity and be competent working with relevant policies and procedures as well as handling confidential information.
- Be a strong leader with a positive and friendly outlook
- Be computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of excel and Microsoft packages
