Our client provides services such as creative digital marketing, video production, photography and animation to some of the world's biggest brands and a variety of dynamic businesses in the UK.
With the fast growth of the company, the directors have less time to spend on contacting potential clients (and growing relationships with past clients) so they are looking for a Sales Executive to take over sales duties.
Ideally, they want the new sales executive to be someone who eventually grows into their Head of Sales with a team below them within a couple of years - so they are looking for someone who wants a fulfilling career with the company rather that a stop-gap job.

Initially, your main roles will include:
- Meet with directors and marketing teams to plan effective sales campaigns.
- Contacting potential & existing customers over the phone to inform them about the company & set up appointments.
- Attending networking events to meet the local business community.
- Develop their sales processes with the team.
- Set up meetings for the directors to present their marketing & video services to clients, until you have had sufficient training to handle meetings and presentations yourself.
- Grow and update customer information in their database
- Attend regular training with the Managing Director – for sales technique AND understanding of their services and products.
- Update previous clients on new upcoming services.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information to develop your sales technique
- Once training is complete - Meeting potential clients (either at the clients office or theirs) and presenting their services.
- Provide feedback to directors regarding how to improve campaigns in the future.
You
You will have proven experience as a sales representative with a track record of successfully meeting targets.
You must enjoy being on the phone – initially as you grow your list of contacts, you will be spending a lot of time over the phone following up post and digital campaigns.
You have to love sales! They want someone who loves coming into work every day to help the business grow. This is a role for someone who wants a career rather than a ‘job' to just pay the bills.
As well as having excellent communication & interpersonal skills, you'll also have the ability to learn all about the services that the company provides, and are able to answer any questions potential clients might ask.
You have to love working in a small team – they are a friendly bunch who want to help each other succeed.
You need a desire to learn and develop your skills in sales and management, as there will be an opportunity, later on, to grow into a Business Development Manager / Head of Sales to take charge of a whole sales team under your leadership.

The role will start with an initial wage of £16,000 plus a commission of £100 with every new client you bring in (at least 4 per month – so minimum annual income of £20,800), with regular reviews to ensure progression.
