Trainee Sales Support Officer
Bolton - Town Centre Location
GBP13,250 to GBP15,000 + Benefits and Career Progression

Summary:

Based in Bolton town centre, you will become a valuable member of a dedicated sales team. With full training and guidance, you will act as point of contact for any incoming broker queries and also provide telephone and administrative support to the Sales Advisors and Account Executive to ensure the smooth completion of all sales.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist Sales Team with follow-up calls and correspondence as required
  • Handle incoming telephone enquiries from brokers
  • Assist with overflow calls
  • Assist the Sales Team to help maintain activity/visit reports
  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers and Claims Handlers
  • Allocate daily post as appropriate
  • Organise stationary orders for brokers ensuring deliveries are within timeframes

Training and Career Development:

Extensive, in house-training provided as well as financial support for vocation, academic and professional qualifications ie. CII, Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships, BDMA (British Damage Management Association). This role would suit candidates who are keen to learn and want to grow within the industry.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE passes at Grades A-C including English and Maths
  • Experience in an office based, customer service or business administration role
  • PC literate - MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in an insurance or sales environment and CII qualification would be advantageous

Salary & Package:

GBP13,250 to GBP15,000 basic salary, dependent on experience. Benefits include 21 days holiday (rising to maximum 28 days with length of service), Bank Holidays, eye care vouchers, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, non-contributory pension scheme, Star Awards.
