We are recruiting for Palliative Care Nurse Specialist (Developmental Post)

• £26,829 - £35,931
• Full Time
• 12 month Fixed term (contract extension dependant on funding)

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic RGN who is passionate about excellence in palliative and end of life care, to join us in a development role. The post-holder will be mainly working in a community setting but also working into the local acute hospital at weekends and bank holidays as required. During a period of mentored development the successful candidate will be supported to acquire the necessary training, experience and qualifications to excel in this role. The successful candidate will be a first level RGN with five years post registration experience that includes working with cancer or palliative care patients at a senior level, along with advanced communication skills and teaching experience.
