Deputy Registered Manager

This company provides a Supporting Independence Service to clients with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, enabling individuals to enjoy the best quality of life that they can in the comfort of their own home.

They require an experienced and hard working Deputy Manager who is compassionate, with good communication and organisational skills together with a calm and caring manner, skills which are vital for this important role in the company.

Key responsibility

Develop and supervise a team of care workers to provide high quality personal care that is safe; effective; caring; responsive to individual clients care needs and expectations. Provide care the clients own environment to promote person-centred and collaboratively developed care and support. Assist each client to live their life the way that they choose and to their potential, as far as they are able. Value clients' choices, promote their dignity and respect privacy at all times.

Essential criteria

- Experience of supervising the delivery of social care services
- Experience of managing care plans, risks assessments and medication.
- NVQ Level 3 with willingness to work towards Level 5 - Health and Social Care
- Previous experience of risk assessment and person centred care and support planning
- Knowledge of how to recognise abuse and safeguarding procedures
