Job Title: Grinding Operator
Location: Braintree, Essex
Salary: Competitive
Hours of Work:
Days (39-hours per week)
Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 4.00pm
Friday: 7.30am - 3.00pm.
Nights (39-hours per week)
Monday -Wednesday: 8.00 pm - 6.30 am
Thursday: 9.00 pm - 6.30 am.
The company is a world-leading manufacturer of linear motion systems and automation components. They have been leading the development of V Guide technology since 1969, and continue to develop innovative linear products that offer new solutions to design engineers.
Our Client is a manufacturer of precision ball and roller bearings and other high-accuracy machined components. The company is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of a wide range of linear motion products and precision components for automation and special purpose machine projects.
Essential to Role:
- Experience of precision or Toolroom grinding.
- Knowledge of cylindrical grinding principles.
- Proven engineering background in a similar environment.
- Willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred for Role:
- Ideally similar background in manufacturing, production and grinding-based roles, would be advantageous but not essential.
- Use of pre-set meters and gauges to check conformity of product.
- A willingness to learn and constantly improve.
- Good team worker.
