Research Officer (Energy) - Leicester

Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Research Officer to join a UK leading environmental consultancy as part of their new development and testing team in Leicester. The successful Research Officer will be carrying out research testing, data collection and analysis to identify new products / services within the air testing and energy assessment sectors.
Qualifications: In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BSc / BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific / engineering / construction related discipline. Due to the travel commitments involved with the role a full UK drivers licence is essential.
Experience: Ideally applicants will have a minimum of 6 month's field based research environment, gathering data, undertaking analysis and compiling reports. Candidates who have an in depth knowledge of the construction / building services sector will be at an advantage.
Duties:
- Assisting with the undertaking of a large field trial of air tightness testing technology, including data gathering
- Take the lead in completing data analysis of research findings, including the preparation of presentations and reports
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to the wider business by undertaking equipment demonstrations and technical support
