Automation and Controls Engineer - Warrington - GBP35,000 - GBP45,000
My client, a well renowned manufacturing company, are looking to recruit a Controls Engineer based around the Warrington Area. My client is looking for high calibre self-starters, control and automation professionals who are capable of operating at high level within the company. This role requires the ideal candidate to have an understanding of the project lifecycle from concept through to completion.
This includes the development of Design Documentation, configuration of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Testing and commissioning. Experience with Siemens and a background in the Food and Beverage Industry is compulsory.
Duties include:
* Producing Design documentation.
* Control system software design and implementation.
* Control system hardware design.
* Electrical control panel design (not essential).
* Liaising with clients.
* Working as part of a team or alone with senior guidance as required.
* Participating in the tendering process.
* Report writing and surveying.
Skills/Qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant Engineering subject and member of the relevant engineering bodies.
* 5 or more years control system design experience in a similar role.
* Have high intellect and potentials to evolve within the company.
* Good written and communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Possess an interest in industrial control and automation.
