Our client is very busy at the moment and is looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer to become an important part of the team in Kent and make an immediate impact on a range of exciting building structures projects to be delivered to high profile clients across the UK. Our client is a highly respected multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that boasts an impressive portfolio which it is continually adding to and has a number of exciting projects on the horizon. Our client will be looking to pay a competitive salary for this role which includes numerous benefits.
In order to be considered for this Chartered Structural Engineer role you will;
- Hold Chartership status with either ICE or IStructE
- Have a background in building structures at a UK based consultancy
- Have demonstrable experience of working with steel, concrete and timber
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have experience of leading projects independently
- Project management experience is desirable
In this Chartered Structural Engineer role you will;
- Be heavily involved in a range of projects from inception to completion
- Lead smaller projects with minimal supervision
- Frequently attend site projects
- Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with a number of clients
- Aid the development of more junior employees
- Take on more responsibility as you progress within the consultancy
