Commercial Manager

Due to our continued success and growth, we have a fantastic opportunity in Leatherhead for a Commercial Manager to join our established Living Space - New Homes team, where the primary focus will be to provide strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all commercial activities pre and post contract across a given area of responsibility.

The key objectives will include:
Take responsibility for both winning work and operational delivery of projects Demonstrate a good understanding of traditional and modern methods of construction Ensure the commercial function within the business unit effectively supports the operational teams in the implementation of H & S policies Regularly reviews and provides guidance and challenge on strategic project and business unit objectives Ensure the delivery of high quality commercial reports to the client on time. Undertake ownership and accountability for delivering key aspects of the supply chain strategy To develop highly talented and motivated commercial teams and excellent relationships with other business functions, customers, consultants and the supply chain
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business. You will have excellent commercial acumen and gravitas to influence other stake holders both internally and externally. You will also ideally have experience of managing residential schemes to GBP50M in value.
