We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Surveyor to join our Leatherhead team.

Reporting into the Commercial Manager, your primary focus will be to take accountability for the Development and Implementation of all pre and post contract strategies, commercial functions and contract reporting.

Key Accountabilities will include:
Ensure all subcontract documentation is SHE Group policy compliant Ensure all team members understand project accountabilities and objectives Regularly monitors project objectives and facilitates a change in process where appropriate Demonstrates understanding of internal and external tender strategies/ build up Agree external valuations/ cash flow to maximise project value Interact with the project team to maximise project procurement, production and commercial strategies Agree and produce main and sub contract final accounts with the Surveying Manager Ability to form and develop relationships with client, PQS, design teams and supply chain
To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate and engaging approach when supporting and educating the business.

You will have solid experience in the new build residential market, and have a good ability to understand financial reports and final accounts, and have an ability to develop commercial site teams.

Alongside this it would be an advantage if you have some knowledge of construction technology, including regulatory requirements and/or have experience of ISO 9001:2008, but this is not essential, it is more important for us that we identify someone with the right drive and personality to be able to make a difference across the Wates group.
