EIA Specialist

As an EIA Specialist, you will work alongside town planners and a range of environmental specialists (including landscape architects, ecologist, archaeologists and water resource specialists) to help deliver a broad range of environmental projects and advisory services, including Environmental Impact Assessments.
Your role will be as one of the coordinators for, mainly, EIA projects. As such you will be involved in screening and scoping studies, and helping to mange and deliver full EIAs and the production of the final environmental reports.
You will have:
* a relevant degree (including post graduate) covering environmental assessment, auditing and management systems
* demonstrable knowledge of environmental impact assessment (EIA) and relevant legislation in the UK
* a technical capability of at least one environmental discipline (eg. water resources)
* BSc as a minimum, or postgraduate degree in a relevant environmental subject, and working towards professional chartership
*The ability to manage your own work and that of others, whilst being an integral member of a wider project team
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent 'self-starting' capabilities
* A full UK driving license
