LOVESPACE Driver

LOVESPACE is the UK's first storage-by-the-box service, founded and backed by the people who brought you Streetcar (now Zipcar). We collect things (mostly in boxes) from people's front doors; look after them for as long as they want, and then return them whenever and wherever they want them, within the UK. We're their virtual loft, garage or store-cupboard. We're fully funded, have seen exponential growth in the past years (picking up a few awards along the way!) and we're about to embark on another considerable and exciting stage of growth in 2017. On top of all this, we also have thousands of lovely customers who deserve the best service!What's the role?LOVESPACE are looking for experienced drivers to join our expanding driver team. The job is based from our warehouse in Dunstable on a 6 month contract basis. The candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, collecting and delivering items on time and following processes to enable us to track each boxes whereabouts at every step of the journey.SkillsFlexibility, Friendly, Driver, Delivery, Highly Organised, Attention to Details, Highly motivated, Customer Service skill, Clear Communication Skills, An ability to work proactively and independently, Clean UK driving licenceSectorsLogistics / Warehousing / SecurityQuestionsWhat's your favourite App?, Would you recommend it to LOVESPACE's CEO?, Why should he (not) use it?, Are you legally able to work in the UK?Responsibilities would include:Complete a daily route between customers' premises and LOVESPACE warehousesSuccessfully collect and return customers' items with the greatest careLift and carry boxes between a van and the customers' front doorEnsure items are appropriately labeledScan items at appropriate intervals and report any issues to the operations teamUnload the van at the LOVESPACE warehouse with help from the warehouse team ensuring every box is accounted forProvide recommendations to the LOVESPACE management team based on operational experienceBe friendly, helpful and welcoming, knowing you are the face of LOVESPACEGenerate positive reviews from customersRegularly contribute to the consistent improvement in service levels and efficiencies of the Fleet Team
