Procurement Analyst

Permanent, 37 hours per week
Our client is currently seeking a Procurement Analyst to work within the Procurement Team providing support for developing and implementing the procurement policy and strategy.
In this key role you will coordinate purchasing activity and maximise savings and value for money in line with the Company's strategy and vision. You will also support the procurement strategy by researching, solving complex analytical problems and providing data to support the programme using spend analytics, eSourcing, contract management and supplier management digital tools, integrated at various levels with our Intend eSourcing, Orchard Housing and Open Accounts Finance systems to ensure the most effective outcome.
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree or vocabulary, verbal reasoning and numerical skills to the equivalent ability level. Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to understand and distil complex financial data to support business decision making are required. You will also have strong Excel skills with experience in modelling and working with large volumes of complex data. A CIPS qualification would be beneficial.
Due to the nature of the role you must have a flexible approach to hours worked and be able to attend evening meetings as and when required.
