About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to acquire new professional property managers for the Tripadvisor Vacation Rentals and all of the vacations rentals websites that fall under the TripAdvisor brand. S/he will be comfortable cold-calling property managers, pitching our products to the relevant contact and getting them to successfully implement one or several of our vacation rental listings products. This role requires a proactive, motivated, organised, responsible candidate who is able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented and entrepreneurial environment. This role is based in our Oxford office.
This role will combine excellent sales and communications skills as well as good relationship building skills. S/he will have a strong background in business development in a B2B environment, with a track-record of hitting targets.
Responsibilities:
-Work as an integral part of the TripAdvisor Vacations Rentals Property managers - New Sales Team to develop, present and convert prospects across EMEA via the effective use of telephone and email mediums.
-Meet, and where possible exceed agreed targets through continual acquisition of new clients.
-Communicate relevant and tailored solutions to prospective clients based on their individual business requirements.
-Maintain a clean pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities to convert.
-Build market knowledge to become an expert in the European vacation rentals marketplace.
-Work together with rest of the sales teams in the pursuit of excellent results and flawless execution
-Keep up with product training and new TripAdvisor Vacation Rentals offerings to ensure an expert on all products and payment models.
Requirements:
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and to work in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills
-Ability and ambition to work to daily targets
-Flexible and open to changes and new information; adapts behaviour and work methods accordingly
-Strong execution and prioritisation skills and business acumen.
-Experienced at building effective client relationships through positive communication, honesty and trust
-Equipped with excellent sales, negotiation skills
-Excellent written and oral communication in English and Fluency in Spanish/ Portuguese is desirable
-Not intimidated by technical interaction. Must enjoy problem solving and be unafraid of technical solutions to ensure successful launch of products
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task and think creatively
-Strong organisational and analytic skills.
-Results driven and motivated to work to hit and exceed targets
Skills and Qualifications:
-Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
-Proficiency with Salesforce desirable
-Min. 2 years experience of sales experience (digital advertising/online media sales a plus)
-Degree qualified or equivalent preferable
