Job Description Deputy Pre School Leader
37 hours per week
Term time only
Level 2A
NJC Points 10 - 13
GBP15,613 to GBP16,491 pro rata
Knowledge, Experience and Training
Experience of working with children aged 2 - 5 years. Numeracy and literacy skills equivalent to NVQ Level 2 or GCSE Grade C in Maths and English. Understanding of the curricular requirements of the pre school, these to include statutory requirements. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and within a team.
Experience in developing long term and sessional curriculum plans which take into account the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance, and to monitor the effectiveness of the setting's curriculum. This may include working with other external professionals.
To oversee the provision of SEND policy within the setting and ensure that duties are performed in line relevant SEND legislation.
