LOCATION: North Shropshire but may also work in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire
JOB TITLE: Qualified & Unqualified Residential Children's Workers
SALARY & BENEFITS: Average salary for qualified staff is circa GBP27k, unqualified is circa GBP23,600 Including bonus and enhancements after completion of probationary period.
THE ROLE: We are delighted to be working with a company that offers a range of services to children and young people who have emotional, behavioural difficulties and that cannot live with family members or within foster care. They have a great track record of helping young people achieve their targets including reunification with family members, moving on into a productive foster placement, or on into independent living.
The homes are situated in great locations that allow young people to access all the things that kids love to do such as horse riding, bowling, cinema, cadets, trampolining, football etc.
This position will be to support young people between the ages of 8 - 17 years of age to develop their physical, social and emotional well being.
We have a number of positions available for passionate Residential Child Care Workers to support the children and young people in one of the homes in the areas stated above.
This is a challenging, yet very rewarding role and if you are passionate about bettering the lives of children and young people, and have experience within a similar setting or you are interested in this as a new career then we want to hear from you.

Essential Criteria:
A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Empathy, caring and sensitivity to the needs of others
IT skills
Willingness to work shifts
Desirable Criteria:
Level 3 Diploma Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience of working with young people
