Our client is a leading UK supplier of premium quality refreshment vending machines. Since their establishment in 1992, our client’s reputation has gone from strength to strength. With customers that can be sure of a personal, efficient and cost effective vending service at all times.

Due to the constant commercial success of our client, we are now helping them in their search for and enthusiastic and efficient individual to join their team as an Installation Engineer. This is a field based role, which requires visiting their location in Hemel Hempstead.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, Decommissioning and moving the full range of machines that Express Vending supplies at client sites throughout London and the Home Counties. Please note, this includes lifting and carrying of some equipment.
  • Working flexibly between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime in evenings and weekends in order to meet demands of busy periods and/or large installations.
  • Working both individually and within the team to meet department objectives and KPIs.
  • Making a great first impression when arriving on site and take all ‘hassle’ surrounding an installation away from the client.
  • Taking responsibility to ensure you carry out your role safely within both the clients and Express Vending’s Health and Safety guidelines and requirements.
  • Approaching each installation with a ‘can do’ attitude, using a common sense approach to ensure a smooth experience for our clients.
  • Proactively identifying any potential issues, overcoming them calmly without causing undue concern for our clients.
  • Liaising internally with Sales/CRM, Retail and Service Engineers to ensure any potential issues that could prevent a ‘Great Start installation’ are overcome.
  • Completing the administrative side of the role, which includes Data capture, Installation Reports, Stock Takes, Overtime claims, Expenses, Holiday Forms, Clearing down calls, reporting accidents/injuries etc are all done accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring the Company Vehicle is cleaned regularly and kept in a good state of repair.

Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Technical knowledge of vending equipment would be an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Location: - Field Based with required visits to base at Hemel Hampstead

Salary: - £24k - £28k
