CNC Operator

Further to our client’s continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Punch Operative within the Sheet Steel Department to work in Kendal.  This is your chance to join a fantastic company who really value their staff.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operation of CNC Punch Machine
• Load programs to the machine
• Put in correct tooling as required by the program
• Select the correct material
• Execute program
• Break out parts and identify correctly which job they are for
• Maintenance of tooling including cleaning, grinding and sharpening

Skill Requirements:

• The ideal candidate must be:
  • Self-motivated,
  • Enthusiastic and conscientious with
  • A high standard of attention to detail.
• They must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision will be essential Applicants should also be flexible to work overtime and some weekends as the role requires.

Salary: - £9.00 - £12.00 p/hr
