Voids & Maintenance Operative
Bury
Salary: £20,808 per annum following successful 6-month probationary period
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

They have a new and exciting opportunity for a Voids & Maintenance Operative within their Asset Management department, based in Bury.
The purpose of this role is to carry out an efficient and "quick turnaround" void programme; to carry out minor repairs and decorations to void properties and to carry out other repairs to properties where required. The post will cover properties in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Some of the key knowledge, skills and behaviours required are:
- At least 2 years' experience within a housing maintenance capacity, or ex-tradesman.
- Experience of working with contractors and repairs
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively. Good time management and organisational skills
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation
- Flexible, approachable, positive and enthusiastic
