Role: Training Coordinator - Training Delivery - L&D - Learning & Development
Duration: 3 months Initially
Day Rate: Negotiable
Location: Durham based with Occasional travel to customer sites.
Sopra Steria Recruitment are currently seeking a Training Delivery Advisor for our client in Durham. You will be responsible for supporting the changes in their customer directorate as they implement major changes to systems and processes. You will be ensuring that training, learning and development interventions are built and take place as planned, whilst finding creative solutions to give people the learning they need whilst maintaining spend within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- To proactively work with the Training Contracts Manager, L&D Manager, Business Readiness Team and programme team to develop, plan, co-ordinate and fulfil the needs against the training strategies for new systems and processes for the business.
- Develop training modules, content and materials for the new customer systems, including new operational processes.
- To lead the internal training developers on the project and manage the progress against the programme deliverables.
- Coordinate and deploy training solutions in the required timescales. Monitor delivery and evaluate the outcomes of the training.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to incorporate customer journeys and unrivalled customer service into the training
- Within the programme ensure new starters' and business as usual training plans, programmes and processes are in place once new systems go live.
- To ensure that training spend is within plan and support the Training Contracts Manager to maximise the learning achieved from the training budget
Skills Required:
- Experience of the co-ordination of learning for large volumes of users with diverse requirements.
- Up to date knowledge of training solutions and learner engagement
- Ability to write training materials that meet a range of needs eg face to face, blended, Q&A's, Guides.
- Experience of liaising with suppliers and teams in the business to ensure training meets business needs.
- Comfortable using a learning management system, such as Oracle and experience with elearning would be advantageous
- Use of Excel for reporting (eg pivot tables, V look ups)
- Ideally qualified in learning and development
