Business Intelligence Engineer

At CDL we are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to come and join our team based in Stockport. You will receive a salary of up to £45,000 per annum dependant on experience.

About the Business Intelligence Engineer role

You will join growing team of BI System Engineers, Micro Services Developers, and Data Engineers. This role will bring exciting new challenges your way with both support of our current systems and a fast-paced piece of work to find suitable replacement tools for our ETL, DWH and Reporting solutions.

You will be joining an established and growing team and the position is seen as an expert at designing, developing and supporting ETL, data migration and data models to federate and transform data across multiple disparate source systems.

What we’re looking for in our Business Intelligence Engineer

- Advanced proficiency with one or more ETL tools

- Advanced proficiency in RDBMS data modelling for relational database systems such as Oracle or SQL server

- Advanced proficiency in SQL

- Ability to troubleshoot and analyse data to ensure information is accurate and reconcilable to source of origin

- Understanding of best practise related to Database and ETL solution design and development

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
