Our client is one of the best established and award-winning Value-Added Distributors in the marketplace, specialising in IT Security, Performance, Access, Networking, Unified Communications and Hosted Solutions. Our client is seeking successful and ambitious Software Account Managers to join their thriving Sales team in Basingstoke, giving you the opportunity to work under one of the most reputable names in the IT Channel.

Software Account Managers would be responsible for leading the charge to new business and channel development within new and existing Reseller and S.I Partners throughout EMEA regions. Duties would include lead and opportunity generation and development, client meetings, sales forecasting and reporting, managing Vendor relations and getting involved with product demonstrations and exhibitions. Software Account Managers would have the benefit of selling products from a specific IT Vendor and be responsible for that brand's presence, market share and profile within the UK market place.

Software Account Managers must have at least 2-3 years experience working for an IT Distributor, Reseller or Vendor where they were able to show a proven track record working of working in or with the IT Channel, as well within a competitive sales role ideally selling IT Hardware and/or Software Technology and Services. Any experience or knowledge of working with Rugged PC or Mobile IT products will be of particular interest to our client.

Software Account Managers can expect a fantastic basic salary of GBP25000-GBP27000 with the opportunity to earn in excess of GBP50000 in the first year of employment plus company benefits.
