A leading Plymouth based Precision Engineering Company supplying world renowned engineering brands is seeking to employ an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional business with an excellent reputation.
Overview of the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Manufacturing/Process Engineer who will be able to communicate at all levels of the business whilst providing technical problem solving support to all Value Stream product lines within the business on the Plymouth site.
This may include developing and maintaining existing procedures, offsite supplier visits and equipment commissioning.
Initial design and development of tooling through product manufacture, assembly and product shipment.
The successful applicant after initial induction/training will be expected to participate within a shift rota with other Engineers.
Qualification / Experience:
Minimum of HNC up to Degree level with engineering bias, preferably with machining, assembly and test related experience.
Competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably SAP knowledge.
Experience desirable but not essential with, Continuous Improvement Activities, CAD, Quality Methodology including 8D, FMEA/PFMEA, Six Sigma and EHS awareness, maintaining a safe working environment.
