The Primary schools that Edustaff work in partnership with utilise graduates to significant effect and in recent years these TAs have progressed on to becoming Educational Psychologists, School Counsellors or Qualified Teachers. Typically, you will be joining a Primary school as a Graduate Teaching Assistant on an initial one-year contract.

In this Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will be assigned to a specific year group or Key Stage and you will be assisting with the organising, planning, and preparation of lessons, learning valuable skills as you help to deliver outstanding lessons. You must have the skills to create good working relations with your pupils and inspire pupils to work hard. You will be a graduate who can use your enthusiastic character to engage pupils and contribute to extra-curricular activities.

The Headteachers that we are working alongside want to meet graduates who can display a passion for education that ignites a love for learning amongst their pupils. You will be classroom based working on a 1:1 and small group basis and over time you will be able to get involved in intervention groups outside of the classroom.
