Principal Teachers are currently working in partnership with a primary school in the Northallerton area. The Head Teacher is seeking a committed Year 6 Teacher to commence a full time post from September on a long term, on going basis. The successful applicant will need to be an experienced KS2 specialist Teacher with excellent planning and assessment skills. You will need to show your commitment to improving attainment for all and motivating all learners to succeed through the delivery of an engaging and enriching curriculum.

Based in Northallerton, the school serves a large and diverse catchment area. You will become part of a thriving KS2 team and gain access to a wealth of resources. The Head Teacher wishes to appoint a dedicated professional, who will create experiential learning opportunities in Year 6 that will stimulate learners or a range of abilities and allow them to flourish. The school has high expectations for behaviour and attainment and you will need to adopt the same ethos.

The successful applicant will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognisable in the UK
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Previous experience of teaching in the UK
Knowledge of the current Primary National Curriculum requirements for KS2
Enthusiasm for the role and a creative flare
The ability to form excellent working relationships with staff and pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds
Experience of planning and assessment to a very high standard
A commitment to improving attainment for all students
A proven track record for raising attainment and achieving targets
