Motor Claims Handler - Milton Keynes
Client is a motor insurance business that is looking to hire Experienced Motor Claims Handlers. Based at their Milton Keynes Head Office, you will be responsible for a caseload of complex motor claims which may include vehicle damage, injury and/or liability issues. You will also ensure you deliver an excellent level of customer experience whilst following strict FCA regulatory guidelines including TCF.
Role Responsibilities:
Investigating and settling complex motor claims files from initial review through to settlement
Liaising with police forces, legal experts and third parties to ensure a satisfactory conclusion of all claims files
Logging claims onto the MOJ portal system, up to and including stage 3
Working closely with the Claims Manager on claims strategy and process improvement
Technical lead for more junior handlers, providing a technical guidance and support
Skills / Knowledge Required:
2+ years' experience in a motor claims handling role, gained at a reputable motor insurer or legal organisation
Knowledge of personal injury claims, including working knowledge of the MOJ portal
Strong legal assessment skills and thorough understanding of litigation
Commercial awareness of the motor insurance industry
Ability to work in a target driven environment
Strong customer service ability
