This award winning Venture Capital Investor is looking to hire a new Senior Fund Accountant as part some major growth they have experienced this year. This in an In-House role - NOT Fund Administration.
Reporting to the Finance Controller you will be responsible for their biggest and fastest growing Fund and act as a controller for all Finance issues.
Key responsibilities are:
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts and MI for a listed Fund
- Perform a first review on two other listed Funds
- Provide High-level performance reporting for the Board
- Preparation of Annual and interim statutory accounts
- Work closely with the CFO, MD and Directors to provide timetabled and flash performance and ad-hoc analysis
- Key contact for our external auditors
- Preparation of quarterly management information and board reports
- Collate the valuations from the Investment Directors/Managers
- Liaising with Directors of Funds, Lawyers, Share registrars and bankers
- Key contact for the Limited Partners for an queries
- Supervision of the Finance Assistant
- Manage various projects including banking, standing orders and commission and review several special purpose vehicles management accounts.
Key Skills Needed:
- 2-4 years Post Qualified Experience
- Either ACA/ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience within Private Equity / Investment Management / Fund Accounting
- We will consider candidates straight from Practice - Top 10
- Degree with strong education is essential
