Group Finance Systems Accountant (SAP), Shoreham, GBP45-48K plus benefits
An opportunity to be the Finance Systems Accountant for a global consultancy. Reporting to the Finance Business Systems Analyst, you will have full responsibility for the support and development of finance systems across the group with particular emphasis on consolidation and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support post go-live period and transition to business as usual
- Lead training to ensure users have sufficient knowledge to get the best out of the system.
- Develop and maintain a level of reporting capability
- Maintain user guides and system configuration documentation.
- Providing support and troubleshooting for month end, year end, group reporting and planning cycles
- Maintain forward change plan
- Develop system for budgeting and forecasting
- Controlling monthly and annual close cycles, ensure SAP connections work
- Maintain integrity of the system by performing regular control checks.
- Provide integration support to new acquisitions/divestments
- Ad-hoc support across all finance processes and applications where required
Experience
- Proven expertise supporting and administering a multi-currency consolidation system including report writing
- Experience and knowledge of SAP FI CO
- Experience and knowledge of Tagetik highly desirable
- Firm understanding of management accounting and statutory reporting principles
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
