Sales Executive (OTE £40,000 Uncapped)

Due to ongoing success, our client is now looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in Bristol.

- Basic salary of £20,000 – £23,000 
- Uncapped commission (OTE year 1 £40,000, £70,000 by year 3)

Initially, you’ll undertake four weeks of comprehensive training, followed by ongoing support and encouragement to ensure that you succeed in your role. 

Despite the fact that our client has over 260 staff working in offices across the globe, they’re still as close-knit as the day they started in 1993. They foster a sociable and friendly environment with music playing throughout the office and an early Friday finish is often on the cards. 

Our client isn’t one of the world’s biggest brands (yet) but their customers certainly are. You’ll have the chance to increase your sales skills whilst working with Fortune 500 companies and finding creative solutions to a variety of challenges. 

What will I be doing? 

As a Sales Executive, you will match senior level executives within Fortune 500 companies with our client’s networking and benchmarking opportunities. 

Using a consultative sales approach, you will: 

- Speak with decision makers about their business development plans 
- Match customers’ projects to solution providers using our client’s unique market and sector intelligence 
- Promote our client’s networking opportunities, including their virtual roundtables and physical events 
- Carry out in-depth research to understand prospects and their requirements 
- Operate at the forefront of the market to target the right people and recommend the best connections 

What do I need? 

To join this supportive and passionate team, you’ll need: 

- Previous experience in a sales role, ideally working to commission-based targets 
- Phone-based customer service experience 
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills 
- A high level of business acumen 
- The ability to work well in a team and contribute to its overall success 
- An inquisitive mindset and tenacious approach
