Domino's Pizza is recognised as the world's leading pizza delivery company.

We have been expanding rapidly over the last 10 years and aren't planning on slowing down! To assist our Supply Chain operation, ensuring timely sourcing of products and services, we are looking to recruit an Inventory and Demand Planner.

The role will include:

- Placing purchase orders for products at the optimum delivery cycle while maintaining lowest possible inventory levels.
- Continuously look to improve policy and procedures including cost saving initiatives with a view to reducing inventory where possible, without risking availability of product to our franchisees.
- Co-ordinate with the five Supply Chain Centre's as necessary to effect rebalancing of products urgently needed.
- Identify, highlight and investigate any erroneous forecasts.
- Monitor and forecast stock needs for your assigned product area, managing daily procurement plans while taking into account minimum order quantities (MOQs) and business constraints.
- Plan for and identify root cause of inventory deviation though cause and effect analysis ensuring preventative/corrective measures put in place to avoid reoccurrence.
- Develop and maintain good and close working relationships with the suppliers ensuring SLA's are maintained and, where applicable in partnership with the Procurement Department, improved upon through evaluation of the supplier's performance.
- Monitor GRNI process ensuring maintenance and where possible reduction within GRNI KPI.
- Compile and record inventory information and prepare reports on, for example; use of stock, spoilage of or damage to stock, supplier performance etc.
- Maintain records of invoices; purchase orders, receipts, and other inventory documents for food items.

The successful candidates will have;

- Strong commercial focus with proven negotiation skills
- Be able to work under pressure adhering to tight deadlines whilst handling challenging workloads
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP or a similar system would be preferred.
- Experience of inventory or supply chain management, including stock control and forecasting processes and principles within a fast paced FMCG.
- Demonstrate good people management skills, leading by example, engaging with colleagues at all levels
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and justify recommendations using analytical data to influence the decision making process.
