Are you reliable worker looking for a night shift role in Chard? Do you have previous industrial cleaning experience? We are seeking two candidates to join a manufacturing company based in Chard as night shift hygiene operatives. These are permanent roles and will involve working Thursday, Friday and Saturday and alternate Wednesday's on a 18.00-6.00 (Night)shift.
The role will involve working as a part of a team to ensure the factory and equipment is kept clean and tidy. You will be required to strip and clean various machinery and remove waste and bins as per company guidelines. You will need to follow health and safety instructions and complete cleaning records so you will need a good standard of communication skills and command of the English language. Your role will also involve reporting to your manager any machinery requiring repair or that is no longer fit for purpose. You will need to be adaptable and to work well as part of a team.
This role will involve working 12 hour night shifts and so you will need to be able to spend long periods of time standing/ on your feet and you will also be required to carry and move some heavy equipment when stripping the machines.
The key to success in this role is to be reliable and to work well as part of a team and follow instructions carefully. You will need to commit to night shifts. In return you will receive a generous hourly rate of pay plus shift premium.
