Customer Services Advisor – Temporary, up to 14 months
22.5hrs per week covering Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Salary £12,538 – £13,976 (FTE £20,619 - £22,984) (Grade 3) per annum plus a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme
Our client’s Customer Services Team is their primary means of contact with all their customers and handles around 60,000 enquiries each year. These range from requests for simple property repairs to complex and sensitive issues that can significantly affect people’s lives. They are seeking a Customer Services Adviser to join the team on a temporary basis, for up to 14 months.
Their Customer Services Advisers are the first point of contact for their customers; primarily over the phone but also by letter, email, online or in person at their reception. Their Advisors ensure their customers receive an effective and high quality response to every enquiry, which will include repairs requests, rent and tenancy enquiries or in fact any issue relating to our client’s homes or our client’s tenancies.
They are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the provision of excellent customer service, with particular regard to front line customer service and a focus on ensuring their customers receive sensitive, timely, efficient and courteous assistance. You will be working to ensure that all enquiries are resolved by the Customer Services team, either at the first point of contact, or where necessary ensuring enquiries are referred on to an appropriate specialist, and are recorded and followed up, ensuring service standards are achieved and that confidentiality is respected at all times. You will be regularly undertaking reception duties as part of the Customer Services responsibility for their reception service. You will need to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent including Maths and English and have an NVQ in customer care or similar or equivalent experience.
