Our client, a market leading multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy are seeking a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their established Geoenvironmental team at their Norwich office.
The client boasts an impressive track record of providing leading Geoenvironmental, EHS, Environmental Planning, Ecology, Sustainability and Wellbeing services across the industrial, commercial, residential and public sectors.
This position will be of interest to candidates who have a firm grounding in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental site investigation and are looking to develop their consultancy skills, particularly focusing on interpretive report writing and project management.
To be considered for this position you must possess, a BSc or Msc in Geology, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, at least two years' experience working for an Environmental/Engineering consultancy and be working towards chartership with a relevant institute/society.
As a Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will be:
* Conducting and supervising Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental site investigations
* Completing clear and concise factual reports, and contributing to detailed interpretive reports
* Logging Soil & Rock
* Developing appropriate ground models and associated ground water and geotechnical design parameters for slopes, earthworks, road pavements, ground improvement and foundations
