Service Engineer

Our client, a machine tool manufacturer, seek to appoint an electrically biased field based Service Engineer with a machine tool background. As Machine Tool Service Engineer you will be responsible for technical support, PPMs and repairs of machinery at multiple customer facilities. You will have outstanding fault finding skills and the ability to use CNC controls and appropriate diagnostic equipment. Field Service Engineer - Role & Responsibilities - Electrical Engineer / Machine Tool

* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
* Repair install and service all Group supported machinery
* Respond to customer contact in a timely and structured manner. Good personal presentation and attention to detail
* Travel to customer facilities and undertake PPMs, repair work, installations and associated admin

Field Service Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Electrical Engineer / Machine Tool

* HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent or a full 4/5 year electrical apprenticeship
* Excellent technical knowledge of machine tool equipment
* Outstanding fault finding skills and the ability to use CNC controls and appropriate diagnostic equipment
* Excellent customer service skills and a sense of initiative when prioritising workload
* Ability to travel, sometimes at short notice, and sometimes internationally
