Your Role: 

As a Transport Co-ordinator, you will plan a range of UK and European express transport solutions. 

Once you have built your understanding of TMC Distribution’s operations, you will: 

- Provide quotes to customers 
- Plan export and import van routes 
- Ensure that any issues are resolved and customer satisfaction is achieved 
- Co-ordinate Drivers, third parties and sub-contractors 

As part of your role, you’ll be required to be on-call for every 5th weekend. This is done remotely from home and you will be provided with a company laptop and mobile phone whilst on call. 

About You: 

To join this hard-working and passionate team, you will need: 

- A transport background, ideally gained working as a Transport Planner or Co-ordinator 
- A commercial understanding of the transport industry 
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities 
- The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment 
- Great communication skills 

We are eager to hear from candidates with experience as a Logistics Co-ordinator, Transport Planner, Transport Co-ordinator, Route Planner or Transport Controller. 

Other companies may call this role Fleet Controller, Logistics Operations Co-ordinator, Fleet Planner or Logistics Planner. 

Shifts range from 7:00 starts to 19:00 finishes, Monday – Friday. In this role, it is envisaged that you will work a shift pattern of 7:00 – 15:00 and 11:00 – 19:00.
