Our client specialises in providing data centre, cloud, connectivity and voice solutions. They are now looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team.
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer, you will:
- Provide a high level of technical support to customers
- Assess and prioritise incidents
- Escalate support tickets when necessary
- Monitor cloud systems on a daily basis
- Analyse reports to identify operational needs
- Act as a quality control function for the Service Desk
- Update and maintain knowledge documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
Interested? To join this dedicated team, you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a service desk and/or helpdesk environment
- Experience of VMware and vSphere
- A good working knowledge of Windows Servers
Ideally, you’ll have the following qualifications, but this is by no means essential: VMware vSphere, NetApp Storage, Citrix XenApp or ITIL Foundation.
Our client is interested in hearing from candidates who’ve worked as a Service Desk Engineer, Helpdesk Support Engineer, 2nd Line Support Analyst, IT Support Engineer, Cloud Support Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.
