Principal Teachers are acting on behalf of a secondary school in the Richmond area. The Head Teacher is seeking to appoint an experienced coach to work as a Cover Supervisor covering staff absences in school. The successful applicant will need to be available on a regular basis and be very flexible. The role of the Cover Supervisor is to support learning and manage behaviour within secondary schools on a flexible, part time or full time basis. It is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to work within secondary schools and those seeking flexible work. It is also highly advantageous for individuals, who are considering commencing a PGCE or those with coaching qualifications. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must possess a valid UK driver's licence and have access to a car. You do not need to be a specialist in every secondary subject area, but we do ask that you are qualified to degree level (or have extensive experience in training or coaching), have good behaviour management skills and can provide references to evidence your time working with children within the last year.

The role of the Instructor entails:

-Managing behaviour within the classroom
-Delivering lessons following plans set out by the class teacher
-Supporting students in their learning to ensure work is completed
-Following the school's code of conduct and behaviour policy

The successful candidate will:

-Have excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills in order to establish great working relationships with schools and pupils
-Have experience and confidence in working with children and young people or training adults
-Be flexible and willing to travel
-Ideally have a full driving licence and access to your own transport
-Be passionate about educating and supporting children with a range of backgrounds and ability levels
-Have a degree or be a very experienced coach with a coaching qualification
-Be eligible to work in the UK
-Be able to provide a reference to demonstrate your ability to train/coach/teach/support children, young people or adults within the last year
