Early Years Worker (TTO 24/38)- Aylesbury College

This Early years worker role is 24 hours per week,, 38 weeks per year during Term Time Only.

• Create and maintain a stimulating, challenging and child-centred environment.
• Plan a routine that meets the all round development needs of the child.
• Plan and provide appropriate activities in line with national requirements.
• Undertake domestic duties within the Nursery, e.g. preparation of snacks and meals and the cleaning of equipment.
• Regularly assess and record children's individual needs and development process.
• Participate in daily discussion concerning immediate issues.
• Participate in staff meetings, relating to curriculum planning and development, management, administration, and professional practice.
• Liaise with parents regarding the continuity of the child's welfare, learning and development.
• Create an environment that recognises and values children's individuality and celebrates their diversity.
• Maintain a safe, secure and hygienic environment in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.
• Adhere to both College and national policies that relate to the care of the children.
• Attend staff meetings twice per month, outside working hours.
• Be a keyworker to a small group of children
