The Role: 

As an Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned service and maintenance activities on fire, EL, warden call, CCTV and access control systems throughout Ipswich and the surrounding area. 

Specifically, your role will involve: 

- Operating in a safe manner at all times 
- Carrying out all tasks in-line with British Standards, industry accreditations and SLAs 
- Processing jobs via a tablet or PDA to keep accurate records of completed and remedial work 
- Maintaining strong communications with customers 

About You: 

To be considered for the role of Alarm Engineer, you will need: 

- Experience of providing planned maintenance on intruder and fire alarms 
- A track record of working in-line with British Standards and industry accreditations and Service Level Agreements 
- A full, clean driving licence 
- Excellent planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills 
- Strong communication abilities 
- An analytical mindset 

You may have previously held the position of Alarm Engineer, Planned Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Fire & Security Engineer, Repair & Maintenance Engineer, or Senior Repair & Maintenance Technician. 

Equally, our client would be keen to hear from candidates who have held the title of Fire Alarm Engineer, Fire Systems Engineer, Security System Engineer, Access Control Engineer, Intruder Alarm Engineer, or CCTV Technician.
