What will the role involve?
You will build and maintain relationships with key employers, stakeholders and delivery partners. Through them, you will source employers wanting to place learners on learndirect training courses and assistance programmes.
Some of the main accountabilities will include:
• Promoting learndirect programmes to SMEs across Devon and Somerset, to ensure occupancy targets are met.
• Working with employers to up-skill their workforce.
• Undertaking training needs analysis with employers.
• Achievement of employer engagement targets working across a range of industries and contracts.
• Account management of employer relationships.
• Establish, build and maintain partnerships with a wide portfolio of existing and potential partners to fulfil the business needs through regular contact and management.
• Develop a network of relationships with employed learners through business development and marketing engagement
• Maintain accurate records of specified business development activity and provide timely and consistent data using learndirect systems
• Identify key networking opportunities to maximise your impact on your delivery contracts and supply chain referrals increasing income opportunities
• Deliver pitches and presentations to referral partners and stakeholders to secure new business and Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge and understanding of all funding opportunities
• Attend networking events and other promotional opportunities, maintaining a professional and credible profile on behalf of learndirect - these may be outside of normal working hours, so some flexibility is required
• Keep up to date with labour markets and our competitor's offers.
• Contribute to maintaining a high quality, highly relevant learndirect offer
• Build strong relationships across the business, share best practices, opportunities and knowledge.
• Fully participate in the evolution of the team function through good communication, taking on responsibility when required and sharing information with the rest of the team.
• Assist in the development and distribution of appropriate marketing material to increase awareness of the brand in the market place.
• Undertake any additional duties as reasonably required by your manager
• To support and adhere with IAG's and practices.
What skills, experience, and qualifications are we looking for?
To be successful, your application must be able to demonstrate:
• Proven success in a target-driven sales environment, ideally related to recruitment, training, or business to business sales.
• Proven success in generating high levels of repeat business and success in developing and managing long term business partnerships.
• Strong and confident presentation, communication, and networking skills.
• Pragmatic and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively network.
• Strong IT skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications.
• A current valid driving licence and own car.
