Information Security Officer CISSP, CISM, CISA

Information Security Officer with 4 yrs + security experience is needed by our client a leading luxury retailer who are a global brand to be based in West London head office.

In the role you will provide hands-on expertise and guidance for the business in matters relating to Information Security, Data Continuity and good practice, in order to; reduce risk factors, improve data integrity and increase data availability.

Job Objectives
1. Understand, monitor and maintain an accurate, end-to-end view of data continuity and security risk factors affecting our client; including technology, people, processes and procedures
2. Maintain, publish and present a short, mid and long term plan of remediation, preventative and proactive activities to reduce our overall risk exposure
3. Analyse system designs, business processes and report against good practice
4. Provide hands-on assistance to technical and development teams to incorporate security and continuity good practice into designs
5. Establish and evolve pragmatic and fit for purpose policies and procedures which help the business reduce existing or potential risk factors
6. Communicate, evangelise and promote Information Security at all levels, using appropriate language and tone to garner buy-in and cooperation
7. Report and alert on performance of established information security policies and procedures
8. Maintain a long term understanding of technical risk vectors, incorporate such trends in mid to long term planning
9. Build, run and manage relevant programmes and projects of change, communicating accurately and effectively
10. Bring on and manage appropriate contracts for services and suppliers

Qualifications & Experience required
 Computer related degree or equivalent
 Four or more years' experience in a similar role
 CISSP, CISM, CISA or relevant equivalent
