Logistics Compliance Coordinator

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a Logistics Compliance Coordinator to join our team in Canning Town, working 37.5 hours across 5 out of 7 days.

What will I be responsible for?

The Logistics Compliance Coordinator will ensure that Viridor’s Canning Town logistics unit complies with all legislative, statutory and company requirements and that all targets and objectives are met or exceeded. Your duties include:

• Assist the Logistics Unit Manager with the delivery of Toolbox Talks, Lessons Learnt, Risk Assessments and Safe Operating Procedures to drivers, crew and office-based staff.
• To ensure, through constant review, a cost effective, quality service is carried out
• Undertake incident investigations and report the outcomes,
• Liaise with other Viridor sites and departments as required to facilitate safe, efficient operations.
• Ensure total compliance with Operator’s Licence including the managing of defects, scheduled servicing and MOTs, routine and unplanned maintenance.

The ideal Logistics Compliance Coordinator will have:

• Full knowledge of road transport and relevant environmental legislation
• A full CPC National for road transport.
• Previous experience controlling fleet activities or fleet compliance
• A full driving licence.

In return for your hard work as a Logistics Compliance Coordinator, we can offer a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus excellent benefits and plenty of opportunity for personal development.
